Weight loss goal for 2015: Keep losing weight!
Fitness goal: I want to be able to go hiking for the day. At the moment my knees are still not happy with my weight and prevent me from going on much longer than 3/4-hour hikes. But little by little, I believe I'll get there!
*WEIGHT LOSS Eat small quantities (WLS in November 2014) 6 times a day.
*FITNESS 1 or 2 hikes/walks every weekend (3 to 7 hours in total, with a photo blog for the fun and to keep myself accountable) and walks or stationary bike twice a week depending on the weather.
I am French and live just outside Paris. I am 6ft (no, French women aren't all 'petite'!). I love to travel and I have a passion for jazz (Cool West Coast).
Thank you so much for the support I receive here from Sparkpeople and my Sparkfriends! It is helping me make my way towards a lighter life, body and mind...
Thanks for the blog comment. It's never as fast as I want it to be, but I do like the idea of moving the scale down. Hopefully I can keep it up for along time.
On the job front, I had a physical, drug test and a performance test (pushing pulling lifting, squatting, etc) on Thursday the 15th. Passed the drug test and everything else seemed to be fine so now I jut wait to be notified of the date of orientation. Then I can start working with special needs kids and earning a paycheck.
Claire, I have been thinking of all of you in Paris and of all those who are hurting. I'm a photojournalist, and I have friends who are editorial cartoonists in the US, and they were deeply affected. They have had threats, too. I have been glued to the television, and couldn't stop thinking of those poor people in the print shop and the store, and all of their families. I'm so sorry that the people in your beautiful city and country have been so hurt.
