Health and Happiness After Baby

My name is Cynthia. I am 26. I struggle with my weight. I have up's and down's. In 2011 I successfully lost 50 lbs with the help of Sparkpeople. In October 2013 I had my first baby. I am back and hope to lose 30 lbs. I will use the following mantras to help me on this journey:

-- I will accept that this is a marathon, not a sprint. I will eventually get to my goals.
-- I will keep myself busy
-- I will drink lots of water, and eat more vegetables
-- I will eat if i'm hungry, and will not eat if i'm not
-- I will become a runner

*Try rock climbing

I live in Ontario, i am 26 years old, and am 5'7

I have learned alot of fitness/nutrition, but putting what i have learned into action seems to be a challenge on it's own

I would love to find an exercise buddy!!

My favorite person!! So glad you messaged me back. I was hoping you'd sign onto Spark!! Yes, we definitely had our weddings and now it's baby time!! How is your lil man doing? We don't know what we are having yet, just hoping for a healthy baby. But I definitely have a feeling of what the gender is. Congrats on getting under your pre-preg weight!! That's awesome!! You will keep going!! I know you will!! I've lost about 9/10lbs so far and not because of morning sickness, just eating well and can't eat as much as I used to be able to before pregnancy. Hoping I don't gain too much though. I suspect I'll be about 210-215lbs by the end of it too. Are you back on Spark consistently? I have been now for about a week. I'm stoked to be back and reconnect with old faces. emoticon

Hey hon! I miss you! I am hanging in there- going to the gym with a friend 4-5 nights a week and counting calories. I am stuck at 170lbs still :( HOw are you doing? Still getting in shape to have a baby? HOw is married life? My baby is 9 months old now! AHH. Lets check in with each other more- we are both still hanging on- great job with the cooking!!
