Time for a change......again.

I have come to realize that with the changes in my life recently that i have to start paying better attention to what i do. My health is not what it used to be, but hopefully with some work i can gain most of it back. I have recently found out that i have Chrons Disease. Which is a challenge in itself. I find that most people around me dont understand what i face each day. And that most of my family and friends think i just have to watch what i eat.....its frustrating to try and explain to ...

I find that most people around me dont understand what i face each day. And that most of my family and friends think i just have to watch what i eat.....its frustrating to try and explain to people that i cant physically do things . I know that my family gets frustrated and i dont blame them. I am frustrated with myself often. I am battling depression these days as well. I havent been working and of course that takes a toll on us financialy. So its been a battle for a while. I hope by trying to focus on my health and fitness i can at least lift my self up out of this depression and feel better about myself. That will help my entire family i think.

Personal Information:
I am no longer employed as i had to quit due to health reasons. I miss my job. I miss that feeling of self worth. But i do have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband.

Other Information:
Baking and cooking are my outlets right now. I have discovered i enjoy making bread and hope to be able to continue making it to a point where we dont need to buy it anymore!

Hi and welcome back to Spark People where you will find lots of information and tons of support and encouragement from all our members. You will find that we also have fun along the way. Drink your 8-8oz glasses of water a day, watch your portion control and walk. Use your fitness and nutrition tracker daily. These tips will definitely help in lowering your numbers. Don't expect miracles right away...this is a lifestyle change not a diet. You will be much healthier in the long run. Post any concerns, comments or questions you may have and someone will respond quickly.
Start each day with a positive thought for the day. Reading and reflecting on a inspirational thought or message before you start your day can put you in a positive frame of mind.
Your thoughts determine whether you have a good day or a bad day. Fill your mind with positive ideas, suggestions, and thoughts. You will find it will change your attitude and changing your attitude can change your life.
Sometimes just reading an inspirational quote or a short paragraph help one see the positive in a situation. Sometimes as your day progresses you just need to take a break…Take a mental break and read or think about a message of inspiration.
Never underestimate your power to change and improve! You are a good person, with wonderful qualities, and you can reach your goals!

Just so happens that I was updating my page and posting a blog on the same day you commented on it, just a few hours later! Thanks for calling me skinny, LOL I'm just going to change my weight to this morning's weigh in. I only weigh in once or twice a month lately, but that may change as I'm just getting back into the groove since about September.

Yep, nearing my second 10% goal, and considering changing my overall goal to a lower number. When I first started I didn't think that the 135lbs I weighed in high school was attainable, but now I view it as a CHALLENGE.
