I have come to realize that with the changes in my life recently that i have to start paying better attention to what i do. My health is not what it used to be, but hopefully with some work i can gain most of it back. I have recently found out that i have Chrons Disease. Which is a challenge in itself. I find that most people around me dont understand what i face each day. And that most of my family and friends think i just have to watch what i eat.....its frustrating to try and explain to people that i cant physically do things . I know that my family gets frustrated and i dont blame them. I am frustrated with myself often. I am battling depression these days as well. I havent been working and of course that takes a toll on us financialy. So its been a battle for a while. I hope by trying to focus on my health and fitness i can at least lift my self up out of this depression and feel better about myself. That will help my entire family i think.

I am no longer employed as i had to quit due to health reasons. I miss my job. I miss that feeling of self worth. But i do have two beautiful daughters and a wonderful husband.


Other Information:
Baking and cooking are my outlets right now. I have discovered i enjoy making bread and hope to be able to continue making it to a point where we dont need to buy it anymore!

    Since my last comment I've taken two steps forward. That is, I've added weight training and I'm starting to track my food again. Baby steps. I'm not really bothering with the scale or the tape measure this time because I just want to feel stronger and have more energy for the time being. The rest of it, I'm hoping will just come along with it, eventually!

    I'm going slower than you! LOL I am getting 10-20 minutes on the elliptical almost every day (it really helps with the arthritis) but I'm not tracking much of anything else. I am down a few pounds from the last time I weighed in, but with this old fashioned dial-style scale it's really hard to tell *shrug*

    I'm just going to try to keep taking steps forward, and if I take a step back I won't worry about it much because I can always just take two steps forward to make up for it :)
