My Activities

If you ask anyone who knows me they'll tell you I LOVE to work out. I honestly love the feeling of pushing my body to its physical limits. Yes, some say I'm crazy, but I say its living life. My favorite activity is running. This past year I had two fantastic marathon experiences (though the ING Atlanta marathon had some issues with providing fluids for the runners, I still enjoyed the experience). I also really like doing pilates and I'm working on getting more ...

If you ask anyone who knows me they'll tell you I LOVE to work out. I honestly love the feeling of pushing my body to its physical limits. Yes, some say I'm crazy, but I say its living life. My favorite activity is running. This past year I had two fantastic marathon experiences (though the ING Atlanta marathon had some issues with providing fluids for the runners, I still enjoyed the experience). I also really like doing pilates and I'm working on getting more into strength training...I'm pretty much a cardio junkie. I would really like to broaden my horizons in terms of the different physical activities I participate in, but I've had a hard time breaking into new activities. I would love to learn how to play tennis or racquetball, swim, or even mountain biking.

My Nutrition

A couple months ago I decided to try to cut back on sweets (I was known by name from the place I would buy my daily cookies). After trying to "cut-back," I realized I was one of those people who would have to go cold turkey. So I gave up sweets for a month and tried to eat foods that didn't contain high fructose corn syrup and bad stuff like that. When I started looking at labels on the different foods that ate, I was disgusted. This motivated me to try to maintain a healthier diet. So after a month of no sweets (yes, I did it), I'm on the path to becoming healthier overall through incorporating more fruits and vegetables (and other stuff that's good for you) in my diet. So, that's my story :-)

Haha, I had completely forgotten on the "Oh, to be young again..." That was great!! And my photos is the "Soap Opera" look... I just love your hair!! I fell off of my diet routine the past week, so disappointed...gotta get back on track.
