July 2009 - Welcome to my page! Thanks for stopping by! I have now been sparking for 2 years. I'm still not at goal, but the important thing is I know exactly why. Sparks has taught me that! Today I start my program again. Wish me luck!

Goals are now:
* get under 150 pounds again
* fit into my summer clothes I bought last year that look so cute but are too snug at the moment
* reach final weight goal
* learn to run
* run my first 5K next Father's ...

* reach final weight goal
* learn to run
* run my first 5K next Father's Day (at the same Marathon as Bonnie and Cat!)

Christmas, 2008 - finally added my SUMMER pictures.

I'll have to set some new goals. Only have my learn to run, do regular push-ups, and my final weight goal to go! The new year and my upcoming 40th birthday sound like good times to reevaluate goals! Watch for a blog on that topic coming to a sparkpage near you.

31 July 2008 UPDATE: I figured it was high time for an update. My one year 'sparkiversary' has come and gone, and I am still not at goal. However, I am chugging along still. I have recently re-committed myself to using the fitness and nutrition trackers consistently, and am again writing down my weekly goals and placing them in full view.

It is somewhat amazing to see the progress I have actually made since last July. Looking at last summer's pictures and comparing them to recent ones is very shocking.

2007 - original info about me - Hello! I'm a thirty-something wife and proud mama to three school-aged children. Although I am working outside the home full-time, volunteering part-time, and going to school part-time, I have recently made my health a priority. Sparkpeople has been great! Couldn't have reached my first goal without the nutrition and fitness trackers!

Keep Sparking!

Good Grief CJ! I thought I had added you on my friends list a long, long time ago and found out I hadn't today! So sorry matie!

And I just discovered you are a leader to a couple of teams - WAY TO GO babe! I had an email regarding you posted a thread regarding creating team goals, but the thread is not there anymore? Anyway, did you get your questiones answered?

Hope you have a terrific weekend!

I know, I thought you were on my friend list a long time ago, too.
The people I communicate with the most from My Recent Posts, most of them I don't even have as a friend. We see each other in the game rooms or other posts and don't think about adding as a sparkfriend. I'm glad you are one of my SparkFriends now!!!

Thanks, CJ. You can put the Say one Hail Mary a day wherever you would like. The more people we have praying the Hail Mary, the better.

I'd like to put you down as a SparkFriend. Would that be ok? I don't think I have you down as a friend yet.

Have a great day!

P.S. I can't wait until I get in the 150s! You are looking AWESOME!

Oh my gosh CJ I know just what you mean. Nick was in hospital in early 2008 for pancreatitis and they asked him a million times "how much he drank" and like your DH he drinks a British beer about 3-5 times a year. Eventually the Dr that did my colonoscopy was his DR and found out that his gallbladder was actually totally DEAD. But with my history at this hospital they don't ask me as they all know I DON'T DRINK AT ALL and haven't since I turned 30 and found out I was diabetic.

Hope all is well with your DH now and that you are having a wonderful day.

Hugs Nimma
