New Year! New Goals! New Attitude!

I started this journey in April 2007 at 220 lbs. and got down to 174 lbs. in June. 2008. I lost my drive for a long time. I am trying to get it back. It comes and it goes. I get really discouraged when I don't see results. I really need to stay focused and remember that it took me years to get this way, it will take years to get back. In the words of my late mother "Patience is a virtue, Christina."

So here I am today, having run my first 5K marathon in June 2014 with a new thought ...

So here I am today, having run my first 5K marathon in June 2014 with a new thought process, new goals, and a new attitude about all this! I WILL run my first Half Marathon on June 7th 2015! I started my training today (1/5/15) and I know that in training for the marathon, I will lose weight and become a healthier person.
My ultimate goal is to weigh 140lbs when I turn 40 years old on April 20, 2016.
I am using sparkpeople, mapmyfitness, and a pivotal living fitness tracker band to help me along the way.

My Goals:
I would really like to be healthier. I don't want to be ashamed to be naked in front of my husband!

My Program:
I have found that if I fill out the food tracker in the morning with what my brain says I should eat that day, I keep right on track!
I have also got a 20 oz. water bottle and I just refill it. It counts as 2.5 cups so it's easy to keep track.

Personal Information:
I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful children.
I love to cook. We enjoy camping, fishing, hunting, dirtbike riding, and anything that brings the family together.

Other Information:
My favorite tunes come from Metallica! I work out to St. Anger.
I can't bring myself to read anything except Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series (over and over again).
I am Apathetic Agnostic. Which means that I'm not sure if there is a god and I'm not really worried about it right now.
I have no patience for stupidity!! EVER!!!

Good luck on the half marathon! My husband is a runner and ran his first one last year. He's signed up for 2 this year!
