I have been trying to lose weight for 10 years. I am tired of not being able to lose it, so my new years resolution is to stop trying. I am tired of feeling bad about not being able to lose any weight. In order for me to be happier is to stop trying. I am going to continue on with eating healthy the way I have been and exercising four to five times a week. But no more weighing in weekly, and no more tracking everything I consume. It just is not worth it to me anymore. I will check in from time to time to see what is happening and to see how other people are doing. But for me, this is the end of the battle. to Team Moderation. A quick look at your intro indicates that you have a lot on your plate. I think that most of us have had to start over again. It isn't easy, which is why we need each other for support.
Moderation, or being within reasonable limits and not excessive or extreme, is a key factor towards reaching any goal. Let's face it, none of us are perfect – and moderation just lets us put things into perspective.
