Hi I am Cathe, so nice to met you! Thanks for visiting my page. I joined Sparkspeople to lose weight and for support. Little did I know that Sparkspeople was going to teach me how to be a better me. Sparkspeople has taught me to love myself again.. It has taught me that it's okay if you make a mistake. I have changed so much this past year. Here is how my journey started and what I have learned.

* I joined Sparkspeople 1-27-2013

* I joined TOPS so I would be accountable for my weigh in's. 2-6-2013

*when I started my journey. I could not walk more then 5-10 minutes. As of today I am able to walk for 60 minutes.

*At work the break room is upstairs. By the time I got to the top of the stairs I was breathless. Now I find reasons to take the stairs and usually get in 4-5 trips a day.

*I lived on Pepsi...now I drink at least nine 8oz glasses of water daily.

*If I was not working I was sleeping. ....now I have a daily routine. This routine includes daily prayers, exercise and 7-8 of sleep.

*I ate nothing but fast food and junk....now I enjoy cooking healthy meals, planning my meals out and trying new recipes.

*I have now made my way to the onederland neighborhood. I will never see the 200 pound number again.

*I was a very depressed person not really caring if I lived or died. Now I am happy, healthier, stronger, person. I have more energy, more confidence. I am enjoying life.

*I have learned for every negative there is a positive to replace that negative, you just have to open your eyes and look for it.

I thank God daily for holding my hand and showing me the way. Now I can say I am proud of myself. I feel very Blessed to have all my Spark buddies and can not say Thank You to Sparkguy Chris enough for helping me with the process of changing my life around. It's all about lifestyle and I am loving mine.
