The Right Time

I've tried to lose weight before over the last two years, but have never enjoyed cooking and didn't really have the drive to do what it takes. I wanted to lose the weight, I just didn't really want to work for it. This time, I'm putting in the work and seeing it pay off.

One of the best things is knowing that my kids are eating healthier and are growing up with an active parent to set a good lifestyle example for them.

And hey, who doesn't want to be the "hot" mama?

My Goals:
I want to get down to between 145 and 130 in weight. I want to be healthier and I want my kids to have parents who set the example of a healthy lifestyle for them. I want to be fit and strong so when we get our farm, I'm ready. I want to be able to enjoy running with my kids and dogs.

My Program:
Just eating a balanced diet, counting calories, and moving more.

Personal Information:
Just a Texan trying to survive in the frozen north.

Hi there! I just wanted to let you know that I live in your neck of the woods ~ or North as the case might be. I know it's rough in the winter to exercise up here, but the more you do it, the better it feels. I think we're in the same boat with committment, I'm glad to see someone from the Frozen North on SparkPeople!

Thanks for the info about just doing PT on my page. It made me feel much better. I just got clearance to walk, but only at a pace that does not hurt...but woo hoo! emoticon emoticon emoticon
