Greetings in the name of Jesus! Well! I am still a wife and a Mom to four great people but NOW i am Grandma to TWO boys! Our eldest daughter (Kenna) delivered a healthy baby boy March 7th,(2011). His name is Bryce James. He is the most beautiful baby ever!!! Our middle daughter (Tia) is the mother to our 9 year old grandson, Devlin, who is playing baseball (they grow up so fast). Our son (Nick)is now a Sgt in the Marine Corps. He came home for Christmas and will be a father this year! And our baby girl (Courtney)continues to serve as a missionary with the Friendships and she is now engaged to be married to a young man who also serves with Friendships! I miss her very much, also, but will see her in February when she comes home to get married!! I still manage a free medical clinic and am also a student pursing a nursing degree. I still love to "horse around" but it is temporarily scaled back while I am in school. My head seems to be glued to a book most of the time. I miss my Spark Buddies but will try to peek in as often as I can during this busy phase of life. Love and Blessings to you all!

My Goals:
My goal is to get my degree and go do something really productive. Hope to do more disaster relief mission work with my new degree and do more health and nutrition teaching.

My Program:
Even though I am back to square one right now, I am not discouraged because I have succeeded in the past. It is simply a matter of discipline. Maintain a lowcarb lifestyle and get regular exercise.

Personal Information:
I am an Iowa girl born and raised. We have a small farm and milk a herd of goat. I raise chickens and rabbits and I garden. I make cheese, yogurt, butter, bread and can all of our meat and veggies so we eat off our farm all year round. I love this life!
I am hoping to get to ride my horse more this year after I finish school in May. I did get her a proper fitting saddle and she is a HAPPY CAMPER!

Other Information:
I would love to have a couple email buddies to encourage and to draw encouragement from!

I spent a few years on a tiny farm in my teens, and learned a bit about vegetable gardening. Most of all, I learned to enjoy fresh vegetables. My favorite, of course, is tomatoes straight off the vine! Today I'm living close to a big city, but just outside enough to be in the area of the small farms who raise the fresh produce for the city folk. That means I get the pick of the crops!

Our strawberries are ripe now and very sweet but most importantly full of vitamin C and such. I am feeding some of mine to the birds (these city flocks don't have much to eat around here). The goldfinches are eating the seeds off the outside and leaving the rest for the sparrows. If I were working, I would send you some of the best plants. They're called Hood Strawberries and when protected from the freeze they make big, very sweet fruit.

I'll bet you have some of the best peas coming up now. We have had a warm, wet spring so my tiny crop will be ready for picking soon. The tomato plants are ready to go at the local nurseries, so I'll get some today.

I will send up a prayer for your harvest. I'm sure you could use a good season this year after all the rain the last year few years. Happy planting! emoticon

I admire those who work for the kingdom helping to lift others up so they can be embraced by Christ. Having been sick these past couple of years I can only offer others up in prayer. Sometimes just being in a 'nice' mood is a strain but I pray for His grace to pull me through. It is nice to have a friend on the battlefield!
