With the passage of time, maintenance gets progressively easier, I'm finding. For me, it's been finding a personal routine or system of careful food-intake tracking. Twice a month, I enjoy two big meals - with all the sugar, fat, and starch I could imagine! They're feasts, and I anticipate them with a great deal of pleasure :)
So far, so good...
Accurate tracking is the most powerful tool I use in keeping unwanted pounds from creeping back on. Accountability is key for me; there are no substitutions.
Susan, You are so smart! Thank you for the advice on my blog! While I know you are right I still want to bounce a coin off my abs! HAHA!!! I have never cared what the models looked like & I'm probably way smarter (& MODEST!) then they are, but I do admit I have a small amount of envy over those tight abs. My guess though is that no amount of crunches are going to give me the same look as a plastic surgeon (&/or an airbrusher) does for those women. This actually gave me quite a chuckle so thanks for that too! Lisa
Thank you soooooooo much for your comments on my blog. I always enjoy reading your comments!!!
I definitely agree with you. Mastering the art of healthy eating is half the battle. I struggle with temptation everyday, but it is getting easier and I think I've been doing pretty good.
I actually went back and read my last blog. You are right again. I was being too hard on myself. I may have not accomplished all my goals last week, but I did loose 3 pounds. I should celebrate, although I think a parade is a little too much...maybe. lol
As always you are a treasure and I hope your having an excellent day!!
