I''m 47 yrs OLD and want to be 47 years YOUNG... I''m really ready to lose this weight. I have been large most of my life... but for about 5 glorious years in my early 20''s. I had a taste of being healthy and lost it since then.

I was very immobile when I started the 17 Day Diet on March 19, 2012. It was hard to put my right shoe on, no flexibility (still is hard, but it is getting just a bit easier)... and haven''t worn women''s shoes in years! I have a bad back and was ...

I was very immobile when I started the 17 Day Diet on March 19, 2012. It was hard to put my right shoe on, no flexibility (still is hard, but it is getting just a bit easier)... and haven''t worn women''s shoes in years! I have a bad back and was just in really bad shape. I want to be alive! I want to live long with my amazing husband who is my best friend. I want to see and play with my future grandchildren and be someone my son can be proud of!

After eight months, I've lost 151 lbs... I finished a 5K... I exercise 5-6 nights a week doing the Leslie Sansone Walking Tapes and a weekly walk outdoors. I have way more energy and people at work are amazed at how my entire shape has changed! I gained 40+ lbs over the past 18 months and so, I started juicing on 3/6/2015 and now I'm losing again. I will get to my goal and get back to eating healthy foods again, but I love juicing and will always incorporate a bit of that in my diet as well.

I'm the most motivated I've ever been to take this all the way to goal weight of around 170. I'll get there...

I have been there, but I find instant gratification on facebook, so I'm there, more but I have been on the reboot site, just have to remind myself to sign on there. :-) I've emailed you.

Hello! I'm glad to meet you. My goal weight is the same as yours. I weigh more than you right now though. I juiced for 5 days in January, 14 days in February, and am on day 3 today. I've lost 38 lbs this year so far. I really believe juicing is the quickest, healthiest way to lose weight. Have you ever been to rebootwithjoe.com? It's where I spend most of my online time. I feel very understood on that site with my juicing methods. I'd love to hear about your progress. Juice on! emoticon

My next French student comes in on April 21st, so I had hoped to do it til she comes. She'll be with us for a week and we tend to take our students out for a few meals. My plan is to juice at work while she's here, and then try hard to keep my meals to mostly veg and fruits and maybe just a bit of lean protein when I do "eat" and as I'm not sure what my weight will be then, I'll re-access my goal then and see what I'll do for when she leaves. Right now, my first goal is to get under the 225.5 which was what I was when I lost from the 17 Day Diet (and the weight I've gained is from that low)... THEN I really want to get below 200, that is my main goal. Still, the ultimate goal is what the doctor told me I should weigh and they said 165, however, I've always been dubious of that goal... I weighed 178 in my early 20's and felt AWESOME and really didn't think at that weight that I needed to lose any... so maybe 180 and then re-access. Juicing til under 200, though and start adding the food back in with possible juices maybe once or twice a day.
