Starting Picture-12/2009-319 lbs!
Left-June 2010, 55 lbs lost, Right-September 2009
1/1/2011-1 year on Spark and 83 lbs. gone.
I am not going to say this is a restart because I think we are all on a journey. I started on Spark people almost 4 years ago and have had many ups and down.
Life happened, old habits creep back in. I initially lost 75 lbs, then stopped going to the gym, cut back on exercise, bad eating habits crept in, an injury that limited my exercise did not help.
I am happy to say I am still down 40 lbs, and though I am not happy with the regain, it is okay. It's all part of the journey. I am trying to not put a number on what I want to weigh, I simply want to strive to be healthier each day.
I am a stress eater, and a planner. Not having a plan throws me completely off track, especially with food. I am a binge eater, even simply boredom can make this occur.
I am here to share this journey, learn from all of you, and hope you support me along the way.
*Be grateful for the things I do have
*Become a healthier nurse
*Increase my water intake
*Increase my exercise
*Make healthy food choices
I moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2005. I am originally from Elkhart, Indiana. I married my husband, Matt, on October 14th, 2006. We have 1 fur baby, Chance, a 4 year old black lab.
Love books, movies, baking, shopping, Wii, anything medical, and helping make other people's lives brighter :) Love my hubby, family, friends, and dog.
