So I've lost weight on SP, then gained it all back in the span of two years - most of it in this last year; most of it due to hormonal changes. It's so frustrating, but I think the hormone-thing-y is just the catalyst for my gain. I've also lost a lot of motivation for reasons I'm trying to find. It all comes down to lifestyle choices: if my metabolism slows down, I must reduce my calorie intake and up the exercise. Period. Thus this post: my re-committment to SP and getting down to 140 ...

My Goals:
Size 6 clothes; 140 pounds.

I need to look at exercise differently: as a way to maintain health and feel good, not just a means to burning calories.

My Program:
Consistency in exercise and eating healthy foods. I love to walk, and do so when the weather's good; when it's nasty, I go downstairs to my elliptical - best investment since I bought my weight bench and free weights.

Personal Information:
Saskatchewan-born; Albertan by choice. Moved to Alberta in 1990 and won't ever go back. That's not to say my Saskatchewan roots haven't served me well; I just like my friends, job, home, and city here so much that it's now 'home' in my heart.

Other Information:
I love to read, quilt, watch HGTV, and have coffee with friends. Love gardening in my small yard in the summer; sitting outside on the patio in the shade with a magazine or book, all the while enjoying the beautiful plants and trees, is my favorite thing ever!!
