Hello. My name is Cindy. I'm a stay-at-home-mom to a toddler. I'm also a full-time student and a gamer.

For the past several years, I started eating really unhealthily out of laziness and I was addicted to soda. I stopped watching my weight, was completely inactive, and I just didn't care. Even during and after my pregnancy to my daughter, I didn't do much better.

As my daughter got more and more active, I realized I really needed to change, so I can keep up with her and be a healthy example to her. I also want to be happy with the way I looked and be at a healthy weight with a healthy lifestyle before I have more kids.

So here I am now on SparkPeople, which has been a wonderful resource and support to me. I've been completely soda-free for several months now. I'm eating more healthy, being way more active, and slowly and healthily losing weight. I've been so much more happy and energetic, and it's awesome!

I love video games. I own a Nintendo 3DS. I used to play RuneScape and World of Warcraft. I play Guild Wars 1 when I have the time. Looking forward to Guild Wars 2!

    Thank you for your kind words! Unfortunately, I still have a good bit of excess body fat left to lose. What is weird is that I can really see it now that there is muscle underneath it due to the P90x workouts! LOL!

    I am going to banish the scale for another couple weeks, and stop worrying about the pounds. My ideal weight according to a site shows that I should be at 142, but who knows. My goal should really be to be healthy and strong I know, but the scale, well, the scale is the scale!
