Once upon a time..............

I am back... after a year off from SP due to medical issues. I am hoping to be consistant and start a healty lifestyle again. Quitting smoking, eating right and exercizing. First things first. I am beginning with eating right and exercizing. The smoking issue will be easier to tackle once I am working out. I will need to relieve stress!

I was a size 9/10. Now I am a tight size 16. :( I have been a yo yo dieter all my life. I am really ready to stop the insanity and begin to keep the weight off and stay healthy.
I need to lose 50 pounds. Three years ago I was doing well with my weight loss and got back into a size 10. I began raising my 4 year old grandson ( 2 yrs. old at the time I started caring for him) and it was a major life change for me. I stopped exercising and began using food as a tool for stress and depression.
I used Spark People 3 years ago and had lots of success with it. I love the nutrition tracker. It rocks!!!
Anyway.. I am happy to be back.
Here is to all of us getting healthy!! :)

LOL, I hear you on the excuses! I really prefer to exercise in the morning before work, because I need my evenings for other things. But if I don't jump out of bed and get moving the moment the alarm goes off, I can come up with a 100 reasons why I should just do it later...which of course in my dictionary seems to mean the same as Never.

Hee hee Cindy...I hate doing housework!!! It's a little easier without kids around to mess it up and both my exes were total slobs, but I keep putting things off until little chores become big chores. doesn't help that we have 8 cats and a heavy shedding dog.
So one of my goals has been to do little things during the week so I didn't lose entire weekends to house chores. So far I haven't exactly been successful, lol!
