Quit smoking and not gain a lot of weight during that process. To lose weight in a healthy way that I can stick to in the present and future. Be a healthier, non-smoking, happier me!
I don't really have a program. I try to watch portion sizes, eat fresh vegetables and fruits, drink at least 64 ounces of water a day, and try to get 30 minutes of some sort of fitness activity a day.
40+ (closer to 50 now) Mom of two, Grandma (Hamma) of one. Have been married for over 23 years. We have one very spoiled pitbull dog (no he isn't mean!) who thinks he is a 4 year old child. Have worked for the company I'm with for over 17 years. Live in small town Iowa, so small there isn't even a bar but we do have 3 churches.
PiYo is a new workout program from Chalene Johnson (Turbo Jam, Turbo Fire, ChaLEAN Extreme). It fuses together yoga and Pilates but with a lot more movement. It's low impact, but is supposed to be intense.

Heheh, I don't know about being able to do "anything" but I will say that I have greater appreciation for stubbornness--I mean persistence and determination (I've always said my greatest asset is my stubbornness, but the other sounds better, LOL) than ever before.
Thank you for your concern. I'm sorry it took so long for me to get back to you. It has been a hard time for me and its hard to get motivated to reply to people. Your concern is appreciated but its a struggle to get motivated to do anything. I don't explain it very well but I hope you understand what I mean.
