Just trying to keep on keeping on.
I live in Greenville, TX and have put on 15 pounds over the last 3 years. And I would like to look and feel better about myself. I recently started Curves gym and go 4 times a week. Tried Atkins and it did not work for me. I am a grandmother and I want to romp with the grandkids.

My Goals:
I would like to lose 15 pounds. I just moved here and would like to meet more gals to make new friends. I am a counselor and am working on a new program for domestic violence, for the facility I work at. I hope it is successful. I want to return to Alaska for another visit.
My Program:
I am working out at Curves 4 days a week.
Cut out sugar, flour from diet.
Keeping Carbs around 100 daily.
Cut out processed food.
Personal Information:
I am originally from Oklahoma, moved to Texas has fast has possible. I have lived in Texas since 1977. And consider myself a Texan. I am a Pisces, and love the sound and smell of the ocean. Lived in Houston for 29 years before moving to another town in Texas that is close to Dallas. Alas away from the ocean.
Other Information:
Favorite author Stephen King, favorite actor is Christopher Walken, loved his movie "At Close Range". I have two copies of it LOL. I love scary movies, Bob Seger, Journey, the Eagles. Old hippie and proud of it. I also love Alaska, went on a vacation there and fell in love with it. Would love to live there, but hubby has a knee replacement and I have had two fusions in my spine, so the cold would not be conductive to an active lifestyle for us. I will return to the last great frontier for another visit.
