Hello! I am a former teacher, now stay-at-home mom. No longer any excuses to hold me back from finding the healthy me. I am done avoiding activities I love because my size or embarrassment over the way I look. I want to be a good role model health-wise for my son and get back to actually LIVING life.

I am DONE:
-Being a hermit so that I can avoid judgement about my weight
-Wearing shorts under dresses because my fatty thighs rub together
-Avoiding plane travel because I feel so large and in charge in the seats
-Wearing sleeves and pants in the AZ summer because of my thighs and "sausage arms"
-Avoiding theatre and sporting events because the arm rests on the seats push against my legs
-With high blood pressure and anything else that may arise b/c of my weight
-Being in the obese BMI range
-Shopping for ill-fitting plus size clothes or anything with an X in it
-Sitting on the couch waiting for life to get better while it is simply passing me by...

NO MORE BEING A SPECTATOR OF LIFE. Who's with me?! :)

**Start weight: 360+ after giving birth to our son (not sure of exact weight because the scale at my OB office maxed out. Eye opener!)

**Current weight: 287

(Update-6/10/15)-Went back to work for a year and left again, as we felt my calling is at home. Gained 47 pounds back due to stress of schedule with my toddler, finishing my Master's degree and a long commute to/from my sedentary job (334 lbs). Instead of kicking myself like I would have in the past, I am realizing that I am not off the wagon and facing a mountain to climb. I just need to refocus and realize that I am worth this life-long journey. We would like to try for a second child at the end of this year/start of 2016 and I will not be open to this idea until I am at least down to 280. No more high-risk pregnancies!

**Goal weight: Losing 10% at a time and ultimately 180 or less (i'll see when I get there but will not give up on myself this time!)

-Tracking food & exercise daily
-Produce-rich diet everyday
-Weight training every other day
-Squats daily (30)
-Cardio: 5-6 per week
(Zumba, Wii Just Dance challenges, walking, Hot Hula)
-In general, eat less, eat healthy, and move my booty
