This part of my journey of life started in Jan. 2012. Joined a class at the Y and have been inspired since. I have three beautiful children who enjoy it with me. I'm half way to my goal weight, but it's not just the numbers I'm improving. It's the whole package! Life is a journey of constant changes. I'm going to keep on smilin through this journey...

This week marked a year since I started by healthy lifestyle change. I have been sparking for eight months. I have learned and gained so much from this part of my journey.
I have lost 75 lbs and gained so much! I have gained confidence, strength physically and emotionally, energy, inspiration, friends, and the list goes on and on.

It has been 2 and a half years since I started on this journey. Wow, that has gone quickly! I am proud of all that I have learned and accomplished! I do need to remind myself of that... I lost 85lbs, but have gained 5 to 10lbs. No big deal, but I know how quickly it could go backwards. I am aware and learning so I will keep fighting for this new lifestyle. I love all that I have acquired on this journey. The ups and the downs teach me all the time. I will keep living and pushing each moment with a smile! Thank You Lord!

Give an overview of what you are doing to meet your goals.
Go back to the basics..
track calories.
Reduce portions and measure.
Take water aerobics, spin, yoga, zumba, bootcamp, other classes.
Do DVD's and walk outside.
Help and attend Y WT meetings.
Work in fitness center, teach family spin.

Anything else you would like to tell people. Could include things like your favorite bookseller or movies, a quote, anything. My name is Christine. Live in western pa(go steelers,pirates,penguins!) On my husband's family farm. I'm 39 and 5"1or2. Love reading, camping, enjoying the outdoors whether it is biking,hiking,etc.

Thank you for the comment on my page. And I am glad that anything I said may have helped a little. It is challenging changing the way you think. I have been going through a lot where it's concerned. It's a constant thing that I have to be aware of. It can be exhausting. Lol. However I find it worth it. :)

Hello! Thank you for commenting on my blog and for the encouraging words. I appreciate it! I know how you feel about fear and doubt trying to creep in when you're working on changing your thoughts and mind about this (or anything else for that matter..lol). What I do when those thoughts come in I think to myself "do I want to agree with that thought or not?' Because we don't have to agree with every thought that comes into our minds. I think I'm gonna do a short blog about that actually. I hope you're having a good weekend! :)
