TTC! Need to lose first!

Hello, I am Christine from Minneapolis. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for coming up on one year! It obviously hasn't happened and I know it's probably all due to my weight, over eating, horrible diet and lack of exercise. He has told me time and time again how bad he wants a baby, and I do to. My Goals:
My goal is to lose weight and become healthier. I want to feel better, have less chronic pain and sleep better. I would like to become a runner. I have attempted in the past and did pretty well for being over 300 lbs. but I want to stick with it! I do like running very much.

My Program:
I will work out and I will cut calories and learn to enjoy exercise and eating right like I used to. I will cut all the food that I know makes me feel gross. I will also keep sweets in, moderately! I know I will just binge if I go off them completely.

Personal Information:
I am from Minneapolis, MN. Currently living in Bloomington, MN. I am 27 years old. My husband and I will be married for 2 years this May and would like to have many children. We need to get started right away if that's going to be possible.

Other Information:
I am very motivated by music. I love to listen to all kinds and it can get me going or it can calm me down. It can motivate me and bring out all kinds of feelings. I don't listen to music as much as I used to, so I will try that again. Also, I need to learn to take time for myself and spoil myself. I tend now to do that with food, but I need to find other ways to spluge on me! I have been getting massages and I think I will start to buy more books. I love to read! Especially true crime.

Wow, well congrats on the previous weight loss. I have been on here once before too and lost 30 pounds, to no avail because they snuck back on with all the goodies I so enjoy eating LOL. I swear if I were allergic to chocolate I wouldn't have an issue ;) I am looking forward to keeping in touch and helping one another out. One day at a time :)

Thank you for the welcome :) Yes we can. I see you have been trying to have a baby too. Its the most frustrating thing in the world, isn't it? My husband and I have been trying for 4 years now. We have one son, and he so badly wants to be a big brother. I think if I could get back down to the weight I was when I got pregnant the first time it would happen again. I hope that we will stay in touch and keep one another motivated :) This site seems like a great tool to help :)
