I am Christian, as if you couldn't already see that ;) ..... but my faith is the center of my world. I am so thankful for where GOD has me right now. I have a new place to live and a new job. I know I am finally living in HIS will and not my own, which is evident by the blessings he has bestowed upon me. I am not a "Bible Thumper" but I do know where my strength comes from. He IS my rock AND my salvation. If you would ever like to talk about God and our Savior Jesus Christ..... that is ...

Please feel free to post Scripture and uplifting words of encouragement and I will return the favor as soon as I have time.

I am obviously new here, as I have only been on for a few days, but I was a member a couple years ago. So I sorta know my way around. I have been working on my profile and getting started but this is going to take a little time!

I recently discovered that I have an intolerance to gluten and I am changing my diet accordingly. I cant believe how different/good I feel since I have cut gluten from my diet. Having said that, I didn't know how hard it was going to be to cut gluten. I feel so restricted, and like nothing I USED to eat is safe anymore. I frequently stand in the kitchen, store, restaurants feeling like there is nothing to eat! I see gluten as poison now, due to how bad it makes me feel (bad enough to have put me in the hospital so sick and in writhing pain so many times). If you have any gluten free recipes, food replacement ideas or encouraging stories about your gluten recovery program (LOL) feel free to share.

Christina
This is all great advice from all of your friends. It is a necessary vice to get involved with something in your community or Church. This is the best way not to lose yourself or identity of who you are. This is one of the many reasons so many of us wake up later in life and say "what happened to me" " How did I let myself get so out of shape". We get to involved with our jobs and job schedules, and the stress. Then we stop caring. We stop taking care of ourselves and convince ourselves why bother. You cannot let that happen to you. You have the power to do something about it, Now.. emoticon .... and we are here to support You!! We CARE about you. Go for it, sign up for a gym membership. What ever you do, get out there and do something. Go For It!

Hi Christina, just catching up on e-mails. Thanks for adding me. I am in South KC close to the Waldo. I see you work overnights--I worked nights for a couple of years but have since switched to second shift with a Saturday rotation once a month.

Hi Christina! I have also done the move and get a new job routine this last year. In my case it is just temporary and I am heading back to home in Columbia Missouri in August. I have been relocated since June 2013. It has taken me a while to get into a new routine (that is probably an understatement) but I am feeling a lot better lately. I have never been good at making new friends and the truth is I am fine by myself most of the time. Have you found a church to attend? That might be a good place to meet new people.
