A new year, a new me!

After having two children within the last 6 years, it's taken a toll on my body. With my 1st child I gained 70lbs and never fully lost it. I want to look in the mirror while I'm getting ready and be satisfied with what I see. I want my clothes to fit better, actually, I just want them to fit! I want to get healthier and be a good example for my kids as they grow up. With obseity looming on both sides of the family tree, it's time I start taking care of myself better before I reach that level. ...

I turn 25 in February 2012 and after years of being overweight, I decided to take a year to lose the weight the healthy way and live the rest of my life the way I've wanted to all along!

Getting outside and becoming more active by picking up baseball & zumba again. Taking walks around the park/neighborhood/mall window shopping.
Eating low calorie, low fat and low carb items while watching portion sizes.
