I ran across your page and your headline caught my attention- a skimpy Halloween costume and is an AWESOME motivator!! Love it...

Haha. I didn't look at the year. I thought it was just a month ago. Blonde moment! Haha. I live in Davis. I love it out in Napa. It's so beautiful!

emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon Christilynn, doll your message completely inspired me. I remember a year ago when I was new on here, and I wasn't sure if I could do this, we weren't sure but you pressed on, all this time and you have lost a good amount of weight. What caught me off guard is you said you're training for a 12k, not a 5k, but a 12k!! All I could do is say "YOU GO GIRL!" I'm not a runner, not small enough for that. You know how I had the pneumonia and respiratory failure when I got on here last year? I gained 155 lbs in a year, after losing the 26 lbs I did sparking. It was depressing. I couldn't walk to my front door without a break. I still am a big girl, with the surgery I have lost 83 lbs but that puts me back where I was when I had just started sparking. Trust me I feel the difference in weight but no real change in clothes because they became tighter, now I am looking for them to be looser. I have had many complications with my surgery for the last two and a half months. Now that I am thankfully (giving God the Glory!!) feeling better, my mom was just hospitalized with a complication. emoticon I just brought her home from the hospital, she has a ulcer, they're going to try to heal before they do re-constructive surgery, that's the last option. The surgery is intense and the complications even more so. I can't really track my food on here, I barely eat 4 oz at each meal. I drink water and powerade zero. But because my pouch is small I can't get in 64 oz of water although that is my goal. So I'm still working on it. I should be eating solid foods by now, and my stomach should be stronger but you have set backs. 80 lbs in three months isn't bad, especially since I haven't exercised at all, I was in bed for a month with my last procedure it was so painful. I was doped up on morphine and percocet tens the entire time. All you could do is sleep, fighting those meds, with some nausea meds too. So I am praying my complications have stopped and we can heal mom. If I could I would love to train that 12k with you, but let me lose more weight, lol. Then we'll plan a 5k for me to start out on and conquer that! You've been such a sweetheart, I'm grateful for your friendship and the fact that after all this time you never gave up on me, I am over here rooting for you, so never forget you have one person holding you up. Anytime you need me you just message me. I can send you a message with my phone number, if that's even easier. Christilynn I thought you were a gorgeous girl from the go - before your weight loss, I can only imagine how stunning you are now. You keep on! You inspire me to keep on. I want to hear all about the 12k and how is the training coming? Message me when you get the chance, I know we're both busy and not on here ALL the time like we were but it's always good to hear from you and hear how you're doing. Stay strong, you're a winner!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
