Scout is about 2 years old now and as far as we can tell he is a shih tzu/terrier cross, at least that is what the vet thinks. We adopted him from a family who had an older dog and she hated him. He is a very loving dog and enjoys cuddling up on the couch for a tummy rub. He quickly figured out that to play ball with our son who is blind that he has to drop the ball on his lap and then he waits for him to throw it. Unfortunately he has also figured out he can steal treats and toys from him as well. 2970 days ago
Good for you for choosing an apple (and actually eating it!). It's those little decisions that add up. All of your choices don't need to be perfect. There is no perfection for any of us...just progress. One good meal, one not so great snack...that's how it goes. The goal is to make more healthy choices than unhealthy ones and to BE KIND TO YOURSELF while doing it. You may want to investigate some of the fitness spark teams to help you find even more support. You can do it! I once put a Nike bumpersticker on my fridge to remind me to "Just DO IT!" Put up a POSITIVE motto for yourself somewhere to remind you of where you want to go. (You are not aloud to trash talk yourself in any way).
