I'm a happily-married, 45 yr-old, stay-at-home Mom of a beautiful little girl who is the light of my life! I want to be healthy for her! This is January, 2015, and I want to make this change! I need to get healthy!!!

Yeah, I'm around. I don't come by much and really don't track stuff cuz it takes 25 min. just for the site to load up on my computer now. That's a half hour wasted just trying to access the site. I don't know if it's them or me but, I just don't have the time to sut around and wait. I don't exercise much anymore anyway and eat pretty much what sounds good to me. Life is just to short to be crazy the way I was. Nothing changed in my personal life when I lost all the weight anyway. Hubby doesn't care and none of my friends think I'm heavy so... it is what it is. Non of my clothes fit so somethings not right. I wear a size 12 pants and they're not comfortable to sit in. I just wear my leggings and oversized shirts and go about my life such as it is. My dog on the other hand has done fabulously on HER diet. She weighed 81.2 pounds on Oct. 15th we took her in today nad she's down to 65 pounds!!! Only 7 left to get her where the vet wants her, 58 LBS. WHY CAN'T I DO THAT???? Hope things are better for you!:)) Thanks for coming to see me.

Now I understand how you feel about your tank! The best thing to happen to me was getting my turtle & having to shuffle fish! The tank I have Tooter in is a 45 gallon & I had 1 chichlid (sp.?) in there cuz they eat all there roommates! HAHA!;)) Anyway I moved hin to the 38 by himself and have a filter less than half the size in there and it's crystal clear!!! In the 45 it was always cloudy, NOT dirty or sludgey at all, just cloudy. I even went from a 40/60 filter to a top of the line Fluval I had in storage & NOTHING CHANGED! Weird stuff.
Yeah, I guess you could say I'm at a plateau too. I don't do anything exercise wise, just my usual chores and sometimes not even those. Yesterday for instance, I sat on the couch ALL DAY except for my walk with the pup to the postbox. I eat pretty much what I want and I'm between 141 & 143! I want to drop 20 but 10 would do. I just have no motivation right now and when I do try nothing happens. It's a waste of time and wearing on my joints!
Yeah, they do the beer thing here too & then some! But, You are more than welcome to come for Mardi Gras!!! That would be so much fun. We have plenty of room. We don't do they New Orleans Mardi Gras anymore cuz it's a drunken free for all and I don't care for the ride there. The time traveling is about the same to where we go now but the traffic isn't as crazy. Where we go now it's like it used to be. Families and TONS of kids. You should think about it! There's nothing else like it. She would have a blast!!! SO WOULD WE! I bet DH's would get along too. Mine is now doing "construction" stuff. He's rebuilding a hunting camp and helping install and fix air-conditioning units. He's done some roofing too. He re-roofed our house all by himself.
Nice to be talking with you again. I'm still here just inactive in the exercise part right now. I'll get back to it in a while.

Thanks for coming by! I wonder what's up with the comment thing on the photos? I'm sorry 'bout your scare with hubby! It is a bit frightening. IDK what's up with mine. They were willing to put off making an appt. for me for over a month so I figure it wasn't that big a deal. I had to cancel though cuz my teeth started hurting & THAT is something I CAN NOT DEAL WITH AT ALL!!!!! I am a huge wuss when it it comes to pain from the neck up except for my migraines. AWESOME about the buddy! I WISH I HAD ONE. I'm super competitive too!!! But, I'm like you. I NEED someone IN MY FACE, like Jillian in real life form, for it to kick in! HAHA! So here is a sort of condensed version of my life lately!
1: 142 LBS. Don't wanna talk about it. YUCK!
2: Celebrated 23 yrs. with hubby on 4/13/13
3: Got a red eared slider turtle the size if a half dollar for my present! I WANTED IT. We had a festival in our town. It is an annual fest. Nice to celebrate our anniversary that way! Most years one of the days of the fest. falls on our day! AWESOME!
4:Just moved him from his rectangular gallon & one pint iced cream bucket to a 45 gallon tank, this morning. BIG JOB! I'd had a Jack Dempsey in there. Had to move hundreds of platys (fish), a 14" pleco, an otto & a cory cat from a 38 gallon to my 55. Clean the 38. Moved the J.D. in, clean the 45 thoroughly & move the turtle in. Being that he's only the size of a 50 cent piece he looks tiny in there. He should be able to live in there for quite some time but, NOT forever!
DON'T get a turtle! I had no idea what it took. But, I made the choice and after reading up on it I was determined to take care of my new baby!!! I want to see him live as long as possible. Anywhere up to 75 years possible. Most in home captivity don't live that long. But like 30 would be awesome! I am loading new photos today sometime. Have a
Look. READ about turtles B4 you buy one. Look at how big they get, what they need just for housing. I was fortunate enough to have that tank available. Also have my 55 if I need it. Right now it's REALLY full! Do you still have your plecos? I only have the one. I lost the other with 2 days of each other but had bought them together and they were like 10 or 12 years old! I think they lived a good life for the most part. I was sad to see them perish but not because of fault on my part. You know what I mean?
