Martial Arts Mom

I am a First Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a wife and mother of three beautiful children. I have recently found my niche in losing weight and it's very exciting. I'm the lightest weight I have been since I was pregnant with my youngest child, who will be seven this summer. It feels great and I'm excited to keep going. Every pound is a small victory and one step closer to my goal.

Thanks for your comment on my "Ankle Surgery Update" blog. Wow, you have been through the ringer! My goodness! Even though I tried really hard to stay active, my wonky ankle meant I really had to be careful. I could not run. I could ride a bike when I was clicked-in which stabilized my ankle. I gained 20 pound, fought off 10 pounds, then gained the 10 pounds back as my ankle deteriorated.

I am really trying to watch what I eat. And so is my mean wife! emoticon
