Chris from southeastern CT

I joined Spark People in December 2008. The first several months went by quickly and I was very successful at reaching an initial short-term goal.

I've stayed on these past several years because I appreciate the support, encouragement, and information provided by the Spark People web site and members

Just read you make your own applesauce (in breakfast article)and wondered if you ever tried it the way I make it. Mine is not smooth but we all love it that way. Quarter and peel about 5 or 6 qts. apples, pour a can of crushed unsweetened pineapple over it and simmer until soft. No sweetening needed but we like lots of cinnamon.
You just made me hungry for toast with cottage cheese over it and then the applesauce and stick it under the broiler.
Thanks for your breakfast ideas!!!
