He put me on a 1500 calorie a day diet. I am so not strong enough alone, and am totally clueless when making food choices and amounts that will stay within that limit. So here I am. Both my daughters are so very proud of me for making this decision and I sure don't want to do anything to let them or myself down. My Doctor says I should be able to get off diabetic medicines, and the weight loss should ease the disabling arthritic pain in my back. He says that the loss will stop the pull on my back and there is no reason why I shouldn't be able to walk after a major reduction. So long story - short .... whatever it takes!
