I'm 27 years old, and have been dealing with emotional/binge eating for about four years. I usually weigh between 139-145, and would really like to get down to about 126-127, which is where I feel I look best.

I used to weigh 126 effortlessly, but then became somewhat obsessive about keeping my weight down. I went down to about 114 and then gave in and shot up, up up within a few months. I would eat everything in sight, and refrain from socializing due to fatigue or embarrassment. ...

I've lost a few pounds here or there, but it was always an "extreme" - e.g. I wanted to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain date; for a certain event; etc. It never truly was a lifestyle change. I feel as though this time it's different - the weight can come off slowly, but I'm incorporating healthy changes and lowering my calorie limit for the day. Within reason, I do not deprive myself of *anything*. Deprivation has been my downfall in the past.

I want to get healthy, lose about 15 pounds and be happy with my body!

Height: 5'4".
Medium frame.

My Goals:
I'd like to get to anywhere between 125-127, where I was once comfortable.

My Program:
Eat between 1200-1550 cals per day, exercise daily (1h walk; short run).

I'm trying to get more into running - slowly!

Currently doing the Couch to 5k program.

Goal weight (125-127): SEVEN for all Mankind brand jeans.

I know these are expensive, but being at my goal weight would be that big an accomplishment for me that it's worth it!

I really haven't moved the scale, but my body is starting to look a LITTLE nicer. Slow and steady wins the race, so I'm just trying to make good choices, but not deprive myself of too much.

School just started back for me too, so I have a whole new can of worms to deal with!

i really don't like swimming....

i think i might be scared of water somewhat...i'm a decent swimmer, but never liked to get my hair or ears wet...i know that sounds lame, but this all started back when i was a kid....
