I'm 27 years old, and have been dealing with emotional/binge eating for about four years. I usually weigh between 139-145, and would really like to get down to about 126-127, which is where I feel I look best.

I used to weigh 126 effortlessly, but then became somewhat obsessive about keeping my weight down. I went down to about 114 and then gave in and shot up, up up within a few months. I would eat everything in sight, and refrain from socializing due to fatigue or embarrassment.

I've lost a few pounds here or there, but it was always an "extreme" - e.g. I wanted to lose a certain amount of weight by a certain date; for a certain event; etc. It never truly was a lifestyle change. I feel as though this time it's different - the weight can come off slowly, but I'm incorporating healthy changes and lowering my calorie limit for the day. Within reason, I do not deprive myself of *anything*. Deprivation has been my downfall in the past.

I want to get healthy, lose about 15 pounds and be happy with my body!

I'd like to get to anywhere between 125-127, where I was once comfortable.


My Program:
Eat between 1200-1550 cals per day, exercise daily (1h walk; short run).

I'm trying to get more into running - slowly!

Currently doing the Couch to 5k program.

I know these are expensive, but being at my goal weight would be that big an accomplishment for me that it's worth it!
