I've been here before . . . this is my 2nd try. I lost 15 pounds before. Unfortunately, they came back--and brought some friends. So, here I am again. I'm in my early 40s and married with 3 children (pre-teen and teen). I'm a full-time freelance web developer and content writer. While self-employment has its benefits, my job unfortunately lends itself to sitting on my rump all day. My big goal is to try to exercise. I know I have to in order to lose weight. Simply ...
I've been here before . . . this is my 2nd try. I lost 15 pounds before. Unfortunately, they came back--and brought some friends. So, here I am again. I'm in my early 40s and married with 3 children (pre-teen and teen). I'm a full-time freelance web developer and content writer. While self-employment has its benefits, my job unfortunately lends itself to sitting on my rump all day. My big goal is to try to exercise. I know I have to in order to lose weight. Simply cutting calories to 1200-1300 per day sadly won't work any more. I have just signed on to the SparkPeople 10 Minute a Day Challenge and connected with some athletic friends on MapMyRun. I hope both help motivate me to get up and moving!
