Hi, everyone. My name is Lisa. I'm 45....and 46 is just rapidly approaching. I am happily married and have a teenage son. Hi, everyone. My name is Lisa. I'm 45....and 46 is just rapidly approaching. I am happily married and have a teenage son. I've been a member of SP since 2007 but stopped logging in due to my father's terminal illness, and my husband's cancer. Last fall I lost 45 lbs. and then my husband was diagnosed with cancer again. After quitting my job to stay home with him, my schedule and whole fitness routine completely fell apart. We have truly been blessed because he is in remission and doing as well as ever. I've been fighting my this battle with my weight since I was a teenager. Each time I lose weight, I gain it back ......plus some. Right now, I have gained 20 of the 45 lbs. I lost. My goal is to lose 78 to 83 lbs, be healthy and lower the risk of weight-related illnesses. I hope there are some of you out there who will become my friends, help motivate and inspire me, talk me down (or up) when I'm having "one of those days" , and know that I will always do the same for you.

My Goals:
My overall goal is to lose at least 78 to 83 lbs. and be able to stop my BP meds. I also want to feel good about myself again. Also, I have made it a priority to be better at logging in and tracking my nutrition and progress every day.

My Program:
I am moving my body more. I am doing some sort of exercise every day. Instead of dieting, I'm making a lifestyle change this time because this change is going to last me a lifetime.

Other Information:
I'm addicted to any of the weigh loss shows on t.v. because it only helps motivate me. One of my favorite books is Rejuvenation, or "My Birthday Suit Doesn't Fit Me Anymore" (both the same book) by Dr. Ken Counts.

Hey I couldnt stop laughin when you said the fact that the ice cream made you feel sick that wouldve made you stop eating it but you didnt. lol! Ive been there so many times. Lastnight to be exact.
