Every meal is a new beginning

I've been on this site for many years under a different name. I've finally decided to start completely fresh.

My plan is to eat slowly and consciously. Eat when I'm hungry and stop when I'm not. I've done it before and it was the easiest and best weight loss plan I've ever followed... until I gave up.

It's time to try again but I need support. Do it for me and I'll do it for you too.

Listening to my body.

Paul McKenna's 4 golden rules:
* eat when I'm hungry
* eat what I want, not what I think I should
* eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful
* when I'm full, stop

I'm also adding exercise back into my life in a gradual and mindful way.

Personal Information:
I used to be Canadian. I still have the passport, but I feel much more at home in the UK.

I'm a newly qualified primary school teacher, which means life is hectic and I'm constantly stressed. I don't find it easy at all to maintain a healthy lifestyle, so I'm focusing on slowly building habits I can maintain.

Other Information:
Active things I enjoy (and should be doing more of):
- dancing
- inline skating*
- capoeira
- yoga/stretching
- cardio kickboxing
