I'm a happily married mom of a 14 year old girl and a 10 year old boy. I'm pregnant with baby #3, who is supposed to be a girl (Natalia) and due December 5th. I love my life - my family, my friends, my job - but I wish we made better food choices. My weight has continued to go up as I have gotten older, and I cannot find any exercise that I can stick to, let alone enjoy.

This pregnancy has destroyed all of my healthy eating changes. At first it was just "eat anything that doesn't make you vomit". Then my body started craving Chipotle burritos. No joke, I could eat one every single day and not get sick of them. You'd think all the spicy salsa would give me heartburn from hell, but NO. My boss says this baby is gonna come out speaking Spanish. The good news is, I have only gained 10 pounds total so far this pregnancy and I'm down to 50 days left. The hardest 50 days, but still...

My Goals:
Well, until recently, my goels were to eat better, exercise more, and set a good, healthy example for my kids. Right now, I just want to make it through this pregnancy without gaining more than 15 lbs (the amount recommended by BabyFit.com based on my current weight.)

My Program:
Even pregnant, I will be exercising 6 days a week for 15-20 minutes, usually on my elliptical, but also long dog walks once the weather stays warm.

I want to eat healthier foods, less junk, better calories. While losing weight in the end would be wonderful, my main goal is just to be healthier and show my kids a good example.

Personal Information:
My name is Helena. I live outside of Chicago in a suburb that hardly anyone local has even heard of. I have 2 great kids from my first marriage. I finally got it right on my second try - I'm married to the perfect man, and we will be adding a member to our family in December 2008.

Other Information:
I love to read. I watch any crime show on TV. I have too many pets, and would still take in more, to my poor husband's dismay. I collect candles. I probably have more candles than the Vatican. My favorite color is red. I laugh a LOT. I could use a nap right now.
