I started my weight loss 4 months ago ( March 08) and have so far lost 73 lbs. This is the hardest thing I have ever done but I am so stoked to keep it going. My friend told me about this site and I thought it would be a good place to help support me.

My Goals:
My main goal is to continue eating healthy foods, keep my portion size under control and continue my walking and water aerobics

Personal Information:
I am 43, have a 16 yr. old son that is the light of my life . I have been married for 20 yrs. this Sept. and I have three precious Chihuahua's, Sissie, Sasha and Sparky. I am an Aunt to 2 beautiful girls Heather and Holly and they have made me a Great Aunt ( I'm tOO YOUNG) haha . My great neice OLIVIA and her brother Jack ( due in August). And My great nephew Hunter Lee.

Other Information:
I work as a preschool teacher and love spending time with the little ones. I love my "Girls nite Out" once a month with 10 of the funnest girls around! I recently pick up the hobby of reading which was a shock to most everyone around me because I used to hate to read ( mainly because I think I have ADHD) haha

I started on here Sunday. I lost 5 pounds this week to by following the diet they gave me and doing the exercises . I was only supposed to do strength training and cardio 3 times a week but I was pretty excited and I do cardio every day and I SWEAT!!!! I did change my calorie intake because it was 1600 to 1800 and I just felt like it was too much. Last year my sugar went up and my dr. gave me a diabetic diet to go on and I lost 14 lbs the month he had me on it. I use that to base my food choices on, I try to only have 5 servings of starches daily. I also love to do the walk away the pounds videos. my bp meds are Benazepril and Metoprolol with a fluid pill extra. I was taking a whole Benazepril but passed out at work because I lost some weight and it was too strong for me so now I take a 1/2. I am hoping that I can quit taking it all together.

This is so funny, I was trying to figure out how to add you to my friend list so I could keep up with your weight loss, I think it is just so awesome. It is funny too because I am also 43 and I work as a pre-school assistant and have 2 stepsons (21 and 16) And a niece Heather. we were meant to be support for each other I'm thinking!!! how have you lost your weight, what exercises do you do?
