“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful."

Just dropping by to say hello, Sparkfriend! Remember, you don't have to be perfect on this journey in order to make progress! As long as you keep trying...and never are already a success! Keep doing your best, because you are worth the effort!

"Part of abandoning the all-or-nothing mentality is allowing yourself room for setbacks.
We are bound to have lapses on the road to health and wellness, but it is critical that we learn how to handle small failures positively so that we can minimize their long-term destructive effects.
One setback is one setback‚ÄĒit is not the end of the world, nor is it the end of your journey toward a better you.‚ÄĚ

"It is rewarding to find someone you like, but it is essential to like yourself.
It is quickening to recognize that someone is a good and decent human being, but it is indispensable to view yourself as acceptable.
It is a delight to discover people who are worthy of respect and admiration and love, but it is vital to believe yourself deserving of these things."

"My invitation to you is to begin living every moment as though you are miraculous and deserve to live an extraordinary life.
Fake it if you must and keep faking it until it’s real to you. The gift you will be giving yourself is a lifelong journey of discovery, one that is infinite and infinitely rewarding. Begin the journey. Today. This moment. Now."

I saw your Comment on Happy Hen's page, and just had to visit your page. You have such a sweet, open face! Glad that Grace is getting back to normal, of course you miss him! We had a Boxer dog that we dearly loved that died at 5 years old, not a mark on her. She died while we were on vacation and it deeply saddened us. Then, we took my daughter's dog in for a while, about 2 years, but then, daughter came and took her back home, but at least we get to visit every once in a while.

We still have our dog, Girlfriend, who was a rescue when her owner moved out of the area, and we have had her for a bit over 4 years......Currently now have a puppy of my daughter's and that is a long story! So, we are the rescue for friend's and family's pets! emoticon
