2012 will be the year I succeed!
Shoot, I had changed this and tried changing the ticker at the same time and that just doesn't work. So here goes again. I've been on Sparks for a few years now and have lost and re-gained weight too many times. I have all the tools I need...lots of exercise videos and programs, cookbooks, great friends for support, teams to challenge me. There is absolutely NO excuse for not succeeding this year and getting this down right. Besides, with my youngest daughter's wedding coming ...

I have all the tools I need...lots of exercise videos and programs, cookbooks, great friends for support, teams to challenge me. There is absolutely NO excuse for not succeeding this year and getting this down right. Besides, with my youngest daughter's wedding coming up in late August, that is a definite incentive to get rid of this excess weight...who wants to be photographed with a pregnant-looking almost 60-year-old! Not me, so time to get to work! Here's to all of us and our success for the new year!

My Goals:
My goals are to stay in my calorie range each day. For the winter months, my goal will be to do 30-minutes cardio or strength daily, weights on M, W, F, and toning work T, TH, S. I will change this as the weather warms up outside.
My Program:
My calorie range is 1200-1550. I'm working on adding more veggies to the menu, fruits aren't hard to add.
Personal Information:
I'm a 12-year widow from North Dakota. I have two daughters, ages 36 and 24, and one 9-year-old grandson. I am an at-home medical transcriptionist for the last 21+ years. Some favorite crafts have been quilting and wood craft painting, but they seem to have been taken over by dancing since I've become single....and the dancing is a good aerobic workout besides! I'm really enjoying life these days and am so thankful for the good health I have and am now trying to make it better by lightening the load! Hopefully I'll be dancing for lots of years yet.
Other Information:
I have a hard time sticking with things long-term including things that make me feel better, i.e., exercise and losing weight. So I am going to take the approach of making it through this one single day, each day, to reach my goals. And with God's help, and all you wonderful Sparkers, I will be successful!!
