My Goals:
My goal is to use my Brickhouse Cardio Club membership at least 3 x' s a week along with my treadmill 4' s a week.

Using scale to weigh in at Brickhouse weekly to keep me accountable along with the daily food journal here!

I fight daily with depression, and anxiety. I say "fight" because I'm angry that I have a GREAT life but have to deal with 2 very serious illnesses. Because people can't physically see them they don't understand unless they too have battled. *this is the case in my world*

In Response to your Message board post about the occasional "Treat" or Indulge meal:
Yes Cherri, I do this, but no more than once a week, but I do it within reason.

What I do is 3 days before (preferably, but if a special dinner presents itself spur of the moment I do the following 3 days after) I eat on the low end of my calorie range, and pretty much "Bank" an extra 250 calories per day.

This gives me about 750 extra calories for that meal, and I have figured out what my "maintenence" calories would be at my current weight- pretty much it's about 700 extra calories over the low end of my calorie range.
So I won't gain any weight from that meal and I will still lose weight becuase of the calorie deficit the other 6 days.

I also try to drink 2 extra glasses of water that day (total of 10) and Get more activity that day if possible.

I did this through the Holidays and have lost over 30 lbs since I started in October. I still had a Thanksgiving dinner, Christmas Dinner, News Year Dinner and have gone out to dinner a couple times.

My one other trick is that if I am invited out to dinner or to party with food, I eat a healthy snack before going- This allows tpo me to eat, but not Overeat or overindulge.
