Time to Get Healthy

I want to lose weight and live healthier. I want to see my children grow up. I want to enjoy my life and not be afraid to meet people anymore. I want to be able to wear decent clothes and move without getting short of breath. I did it once; I WILL do it again!

My Goals:
First goal; stick to this program, logging in food every day for three weeks. Started 09/25/07.
MET! 10/16/07

Second goal; Weigh less than 300lbs by the end of the year. MET! 12/15/07

Third goal: Lose 20 pounds. MET 10/15/07

Fourth Goal: Lose 65 pounds total by 4/01/08 (My anniversary) Not met. Revision required!

My Program:
Logging in every bite I eat stops me from eating compulsively.

Eat healthy food in reasonable portions.

Start to exercise as knee injury allows.

Personal Information:
I'm very happily married with a loving supportive husband and the best two kids EVER. We live in Ojai, one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Other Information:
I love to spin yarn from fiber. I'm learning about natural dyeing, and trying to learn to knit lace. I have an obsession currently with knitting socks.

Thanks for dropping a note: I plan to start an ayurvedic weight loss program in the next week or so, so I'll start updating then and hopefully help build the group

I always hated running, but you do eventually get used to it and eventually look forward to it. If not look forward, exactly, you at least realize you feel much better after you've run, therefore you do it. Plus I'm (lagging) in a bunch of Nike+ challenges. It's a slow start, but maybe give it a try at some point.
