Im finally seeing results....YAY.Ive been going to the YMCA,5 days a week. Im having a blast. Ive been doing zumba,and zumba toning. They also have body pump, which is free weights. One of my FAVS is cardio burst and cxworx. Boy talk about bustin my behind!!!!! I feel terrific about myself. Jeez, I mean ,really,if I would of known losing weight was this much fun,I would have gave it hell a long time ago. Im finding theres a slight addiction building. In the evening @ home Im doin the excersize channel. My house looks like poo cuase I just wanna workout all the time. At least this time ,nothin's stoppin me!! 1576 days ago
Why discouraged? Don't forget that this whole weight loss thing is a time-taker...how I wish it would happen overnight but it won't...just keeping making good choices more often than not and make time for your walking and you will see progress...diligence and consistency is the key. Hi Friend! Thank you so much for the friend add and for the comment you left on my "Onederland" blog...This site always surprises me...I saw your page and thought "what a beautiful woman" and I saw your pic where the weight was 169 and I thought "what...why does she need to lose weight"..I'm working my butt off to get where she IS!! lol...but then I saw your profile that said you were recently "fat"...so it just reminds me that it is just as important to you to get to your goal as it is for me...no matter if we weight 273 or 169...it still takes work and dedication...I think maybe a lot of obese people, like me....have those kinds of thoughts but for me...losing this weight has allowed me to run across so many different people who ultimately just want to happy and comfortable in their skin!! :) I'm looking forward to more accountability and encouragment to get this thing DONE!! :) Clarissa 1625 days ago
Hi! I saw your comment on another page (MMEEAAGG) saying you don't like an exercise routine.
I just wanted to say that you will find a lot of great articles and support at SP and will learn a lot about dieting and exercise. But what I know is that cleaning up your diet is about 80% of the battle. Exercise becomes more important when you've lost some weight and need your metabolism to rev up and keep that fat loss going. Cardio is the fat burning exercise and increases your metabolism, but strength training helps maintain your lean muscle mass which also revs up your metabolism and makes you look toned and trim when the fat disappears. You need all of it - but strength training can be done at home and can but fun and makes you feel strong and energized after! Try to find what you enjoy because once you get into something it really does feel like you don't want to miss it.
