The Skinny Girl in Me

I am a very simple, down to earth person that is willing to try anything in life at least 1x.

Over the past 10 years the skinny girl in me has been locked away and she is ready to be released. This channel is my voyage to getting the skinny girl out. I know she is somewhere in there I just have to go find her.

Over the past 10 years the skinny girl in me has been locked away and she is ready to be released. This channel is my voyage to getting the skinny girl out. I know she is somewhere in there I just have to go find her.

Within the last 10 years or so I have gained about 60-70 lbs which has lead me to become obese. I am finally ready and serious about taking the weight off. I recently turned 30 and realized that having this weight on me has hindered me from doing a lot of the things I enjoy during the last decade. This is a way for me to share with you all the ups and downs of loosing weight, tips to loosing weight the right way (through eating healthy and exercise) and the BIG REVEAL OF THE SKINNY GIRL IN ME in a Bikini on the beach for the first time in 10 years.

I have not always been obese. I am not the person that has struggled with weight my entire life. It is quite the opposite. Growing up I was always the "skinny girl", wether it be with my friends or family. Even between my sister and I, I was always described as the skinny one. When I started college in 1998 that began to change. Since then my weight has fluctuated up and down and in the last 3 years it has been mostly UP.

My goal is to loose 65 lbs in the next 12 months, gain muscle, loose fat and bring sexy back (to me at least).

There's alot more to me than just this weight and hopefully I will be able to share that with you all along the way as well.

Wish me luck!!!!

Visualize life as a river, and the challenge of living as being a river pilot. Keep your eye far enough downstream that you can gently maneuver toward your goal using the force of the river to power your journey. Think of setting your course as the game that it is. Out think life, but don't try to overpower it.

Take time for yourself. Breathe deeply. Take a quiet walk. Spend time alone in a natural setting and soak up the stillness. Have a wonderful day.

Donít dismiss your Dreams. To be without
Dreams is to be without hope.
To be without hope is to be without purpose.
Donít run through life so fast that you forget
Where youíve been,
But also know where youíre going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored
Every step of the way.
Have a wonderful day my Friend.

Hey Cheri! Thanks so much for adding me. I am so humbled that you've found inspiration in my journey and I'm tickled pink that you'd take time out of your life to follow along on this wild ride of mine. I am truly honored. Like you, I've recently turned 30 and made the connection that my life can be so much fuller than the one I've been living. I was lucky enough to have been normal weight most of my life, but once I went to college, the weight has just kept piling on! I plan to make this the best decade of my life (so far anyway) and I finally realize that my future lies in my own hands. I'm ready to create one that I can be proud of. I would love to follow your journey and trade tips and secrets on this quest to let the skinny girls out! Feel free to ask me anything. I'm an open book. Happy Sparking! Oh, I hope it's OK that I added you as well. Talk to you soon!

You must have control of the authorship of your own destiny. The pen that writes your life story must be held in your own hand.

If you're able to be yourself, then you have no competition. All you have to do is get closer and closer to that essence.

Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life; define yourself.

Don't compromise yourself. You are all you've got.
