Increase lean body mass from 117.7lbs on 27-Mar-10 to 130lbs in 3 months (24-Jun-10 stopped at 119.8lbs, changing goals)




My Program:
Tweak diet to maintain total weight. Keep tracking food daily and adjusting weekly.

Sleep at least 7 hours a day.

Do Cardio Kungfu three times a week (start 28-Jul-10). Increase to four times a week (revised 19-Aug-10).

Keep at least 3 full-body strength sessions a week.

Do lifestyle check every 2 weeks.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Well, in the end my son's generosity in sharing his cold slowed me down a bit, so I finished in 1:57:26. I had been aiming for sub-1:55:00 and hoping for sub-1:50:00, but I'm fine with it, particularly because it means I'll have an easier time setting a new PR at Disneyworld in February! I hope you're having a great week...

Hehe... I've been easing into maintenance (currently 161, target range 155-160) and doing HM training (race coming up Sunday) so I'm totally not fretting the number on the scale. Just thought it was funny it popped up right after I left the 160's. Not too surprising, given how I've been eating, but it was still funny!

Aiming for balance in your life is a great idea! I failed many times before in diets because I didn't consider all other aspects of my life, like handling emotions and stress.
