I'm COMMITTING to change!!

I had my first baby 4 months ago via c-section. Through my pregnancy I was either on activity restrictions or bedrest so I gained more than I had hoped for. Now I'm eager to shed the baby weight and find the energy to keep up with my favorite little boy! I'm hoping to lose 20-30 pounds, tone up and increase endurance!

My Goals:
1. Lose 20-30 pounds

2. At least 2 hours of cardio and 3 strength training workouts each week

3. 1200-1400 calories each day

My Program:
I've started logging my food each day to monitor not only the amount of calories I'm eating, but to make sure I'm getting more protien and fiber in my diet (as a vegetarian the protein is tough for me sometimes).

So I don't feel too restricted or too much like a dieter-I allow two meals off each week where I can enjoy a meal out and not count every calorie-just enjoy it. (without going nuts and eating a fried food platter or anything of course!)

Working out! It can be a challenge to fit the workouts in with an infant to take care of but I'm going to try to get at least 30 minutes in each day while he naps!

Last-seek the support of my husband! He was a wonderful help last time I did the weight loss thing so I just need to remind him that there will be less junk in the house and not to flaunt the pizza as often :)

Hi there, I'm the one who answered your Ergo question. Looks like we have a lot in common so I'm adding you as a friend! I was on bedrest at the end of my pregnancy and had a c-section 3 and a half months ago. emoticon emoticon

I too fell off the wagon last week. I couldn't weigh myself on Monday. Honestly, I don't want to know. I am sure that I have put back on some lbs. However, this is a new day. And as long we see a new day, new meal, new hour and realize that everything we do counts, we will do great. I have found that even though I have eaten bad, I am still losing at least 1 lb a week. I am sure this is due to trying to eat better, drinking the water and working out at least once a week. Can you imagine what we could do if we just stuck to it?!?! My goal this week is to just stick to it and stay strong! Good luck with your weight loss and wedding planning! :)

I saw your wedding gown and OMG!!! It's so gorgeous!!!!!!! I too LOVE Demetrios dresses, and will probably get one because my original dress that I picked out is going to be almost impossible to get ahold of. Anyway I absolutely ADORE the dress you picked, you have great taste :D

Thank you for posting.. yesterday was just one of those days i wish i never had to go through! But I think that sometimes I push myself harder than I need to and then I just fail myself more in the long run. I am trying with the small goals of 8 glasses of water a day... and at least making it to the gym once a week, with a friend of mine.. thanks again.
