HELP....SOS....HELP.....PLEASE!!!!

Hello my name is Nikki, live in SWEETWATER, tn. I am 26 years old, and have been over weight for over 6 years now. I have tried alot of diets and pills and I can't seem to find anything that I can stick with. My hopes and dreams is to lose the heavy weight so I can play with my nieces and nephew, have a healthy relationship with my boyfriend, and feel a lot better.

My Goals:
I love kids, but I am not able to have any. Due to weight and over medical issues. But... My brother and sisterinlaw has the most beautiful children in the world. I have 2 nieces, and baby nephew. I would love to be able to play with them for long periods of time, but I get out of breath quickly.

My Program:
I am going to start drink oodles of water, and cut back on Mountain Dew. (its like crack to me)
I am going to stretch 10 mins a day.
I am going to try be more outgoing.

Personal Information:
I am from Knoxville, TN, lived in Las Vegas, NV for about 10 years as a teen going into twentys. Finally came home to make myself happy. Thanks for your message. Will keep in touch...trying to post everyday and keep track as that is one of the keys for success. I finally got out doors yesterday for a little bit of exercise. So far today, I have had an apple and soup for lunch, but I know it is not enough, but that's all I brought to work today. Have to think of what I should do for dinner. How's your day?

Congrats on taking the next step to reaching a healthier you by getting active with SparkPeople - it's a great community, wonderful resources and fantastic support.

Please check out the SparkTeams - I think you will find a lot of others 'just like you' there. You can choose SparkTeams by age group, lifestyle or interests, geographic location or several other ways - in fact, I suggest joining more than one group, post your intro there and write blogs as often as you can - you will find tons of friends and support that way, I promise!!

In my experience, SparkPeople is like a emoticon in some ways - it's lots of fun and easy to make friends because we're all in this together. I like the way a HEALTHY LIFESTYLE is emphasized instead of a 'quick fix wonder diet' - it's about waaaaaay more than 'just' losing weight so you have definitely come to the right place!

If you ever need any help using features of the site, there are tutorial videos under the HELP section that can show you how to use the features of the site. You can also find them on the START page and several other places on the site.

If you haven't discovered The Spark book and/or the SparkDiet linked at the bottom of the START page, check them out - the program is simple but extremely effective. There is a TON of information on this site - so much it might even seem overwhelming but fortunately we don't have to 'digest' everything at once! The FastBreak program is a good way to start.

Another nice thing about SparkPeople is that we have permission to be human - we don't have to change everything at once or be in a hurry to reach our goals. Take a few baby steps and then a few more and before you know it, you'll have completed a long journey - I hope you enjoy this community as much as I do - it teaches us how to make positive lifetime changes because that's the only thing that will work over time!

emoticon the the SPARK world. emoticon It is a great place to record your nutrition and exercise, find support and blog your way to a healthier lifestyle.
Thanks to SPARK I have successfully loss and kept the weight off. I have been sparking for 2 years now. Some days its easy, some days its hard. Sometimes time there isn't any time to do anything except to get your workout in.

emoticon Remember this is your journey, Do your best. Start off with small manageable goals and don't forget to reward yourself along the way.
