L.A.Big5K - March 8 - 52:41 **same hills as last year, this was a weird one. Although it is the slowest race I've done since I started running, it's also the one where I've run for longer distances without walking. Go figure! I'm still processing my execution. Once I'm done processing, I'll delete this note and post a blog or vlog.

I am no longer looking into the future... I'm living the NOW!! Tomorrow's not a promise, but today is completely full of possibilities. I'm willing to work hard and put into this journey what I'm hoping to get out of it. I'm gonna work my butt off, eat healthy, work on my positive mentality, and do my best to achieve great results. Other then fighting a wicked little cold I have been trying to get on the treadmill and consistently track my food in take. It sure can't hurt anything.

I always hated to run when I was a kid and the school coaches always wanted to put me in races because I was fast. I usually resisted because I hated running. A few years ago when I got really into spark and fitness. I did the C25K program. At first I thought I would die but I kept pushing. I soon discovered how good it made me feel. And though I'm no champion runner and my pace is usually slow, lol. I really gained a new love for running. Though I favor intervals, walk and run. Last month I decided I was going to do the C25K program again, only at home on the treadmill. However I got side tracked and still on week 3. It's defiantly awesome exercise for the body and soul.
