My name is Michelle and I just turned 33 this past October (2008) and I have lost a total of 20 pounds in the 10 months prior to my Birthday. Since I have been on Spark People [10/08] I have lost an additional 15 pounds and I still want to lose an additional 5-10 pounds (depending on how I feel once I reach 150) to reach my ultimate goal of having a more toned body, especially in the Belly area:) I have just started the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Bootcamp and I am very excited about this new challenge!

I have two beautiful children and an adorable husband who I love very much and I feel I need to set the Healthiest Example to them so they can follow in my footsteps:) Very recently, my Husband decided, after seeing my progress, that it was his time to start a fitness routine as well and he has already lost 2 sizes in less than 3 months (wish us ladies could lose that fast)!

I have also recently gained a new Spark Buddy in RIQUI and she has been helping me to stay motivated and inspired by our daily log ins to one another's pages. It is truly a blessing to have someone to do this with and it keeps me even MORE motivated to accomplish my final goals:) I hope that you all have the same great successes and being on this wonderful site I don't know how you can fail:0) Thanks so much Spark People and here's to my finishing and maintaining in 2009!

Fitness Minutes: 14,747

My Goals:
-Fit into a size 8 again - Acheived!!

-Tighten my abs

-Be able to wear a bikini in Summer of 2009 without flinching:)

My Program:
Currently I am doing the Treadmill 5-6 times a week for 45-60 mins. I have also started an Aerobics/Strength Training class at the Gym, that I absolutely LOVE! As far as my diet is concerned, I have lowered my snacking significantly and have cut my portions in half. I don't deny myself anything but rather give in to very small samplings. I try to stay within my 1200 to 1500 calorie range daily and have been pretty consistent about putting more protein into my diet as well!

My week normally looks like this:
M-Gym for 60 Aerobics/Strength Training
T-50 to 60 mins. on treadmill with a 10%-12% incline
W-Gym for 60 Aerobics/Strength Training + 50 to 60 mins. on treadmill with a 10%-12% incline
TH-50 to 60 mins. on treadmill with a 10%-12% incline
F-50 to 60 mins. on treadmill with a 10%-12% incline + sometimes Gym
SAT-10k walk with my family (usually w/me pulling my two little ones in a wagon the entire time:))

Personal Information:
I also include 30 min. to 60 min. DVD's or TV exercise when the mood strikes me. I usually do Dancing with the Stars Latin Cardio Dance or Fit TV's Cardio Blast or even the Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred:)

    OK Girl, I'm back on here, Tay & I got up and walked all the way up to Trilogy this morning @ 7:30 (yeah thats right, I was up @ 7:30 on a Saturday morning) had to carry Dixie up the hill, poor girl couldn't make it. Had my Whole Wheat Bagel Thin for breakfast and am ready to get on track. So you need to get back on here so you can keep me going. You know I need encouragement! emoticon Lets kick some ---!

    Hey you!!! I'm down 2 lbs this week. I am so dedicated to making this weekend a healthy weekend. My husband even lost 5 lbs this week due to my healthy cooking and lunch making skills ;-) Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

    Busy busy we have been! I am doing pretty good. I've lost a couple of pounds this week but I haven't put it on spark. I want to wait until thursday for my official weigh in. I'm being so good about my eating this week so far. Even my husband has made comments about how healthy our dinners have been. I am going to only allow myself one "cheat day". I have to otherwise it gets too boring and overwhelming to stay on track. I'm sure you understand that one too. Well, good luck on your refinance stuff. I know how painful that process can be.

    OK girl it's the weekend again, lets be good and make it through. Remember the scale is our friend and was nice to us this week! Lets plan some outdoor activities to do with the kids while their off so we can get some extra exercise in but a change of scenery too!
