Things were great for me, I was at my goal weight and maintaining, and boom, now I've got two kids. :) So I have to work to get the weight back off! This is the second time in my life where I've actually lost weight consciously. The first time, I exercised once, now I'm changing my lifestyle completely.
I like to say I've always had a love affair with food. Always thinking, what is next to eat? So much so that I totally considered becoming a chef and would if I had a culinary school closer to home. This passion, helped me pack on lots of pounds and now I'm having fun taking them off.
I'm in the best shape I've ever been in and am looking foward to the end results.
It really used to be about weight, but more and more as I age, it is about feeling good, physically, not feeling sluggish or joint pain. Not to mention feeling good about myself.
Watching what I eat, trying to stay in the 1200 to 1500 calorie range and burning 500 calories a day 5 times per week. I do not deny myself anything, if I'm craving and I mean craving a brownie I make some but only have one.
