He is self-diagnosed with OCPD. Trademark characteristics are holding everyone to a very high standard, thinking the way he views the world or a given situation is the only right way, easily frustrated, road rages as a matter of course, issues with physical intimacy, hoarding, procrastination, excessive list-marking, etc. He hides these traits most of the time in the wider world, but, when it is around someone weaker than him, they come out much more easily.
Aw! Yeah, definitely sound like big boys. My ex is also 6'4" so I assumed our son would be a bit one like him, but, my current husband is 5'10" so I'm a little shocked that our son is only like an inch behind where his brother was at this age. 1 day ago
Yeah, I loved my previous companies being big enough for lots of wellness perks. But, my current company (of 6 FT people) started the FitBit program we have because we weren't big enough to get into larger, more formal programs. The part time HR person runs contests every month based on our fitbit activities. It's great that they're still offering some type of wellness perk (they also have an annual reimbursement for fitness trackers, that's a new benefit, but, with so few of us, it's doable). 27 days ago
Well I was eating around 1500 - 1800 when I thought my BMR was 1700+. I also burn about 300 calories a day exercising. So I was worried that I was actually in starvation mode and that was why I plateued but THEN after being pretty diligent about eating closer to my BMR (again, the BMR that Spark says I have) and I started to gain a bit of weight which I thought might be muscle weight. It was just 3 lbs, but I lost it. I went on vacation, ate like a bird and came home weighing the same as when I left. Then in a week I gained 3 lbs and in the 2 week after that I gained 3 more! By that time I was burning 1800 cals in the week and I was sure hungry enough to have eaten what I ate, yet I was gaining weight. Soooo....I'm 55 now and I thought, that maybe my metabolism has slowed down because of my age and again, this is my 3rd big weight loss, so maybe that yo yo thing had an effect on my metabolism too. Now if my BMR is really 1450 or so then of course I would be gaining weight eating 1500 - 1800 a day! So NOW I'm going to shoot for 1500 cals, tops each day. BUT it might take me a while to get there . All in baby steps, right? 44 days ago
