My Goals:
To weigh 140 lbs by October 24.

My Program:
I plan to focus on limiting my calorie intake to 1200 calories per day. Each day I will look at the following day and figure out where to get in my aerobic and/or weight training--one day at a time.

Personal Information:
I'm a 50ish woman who has tried for at least 5 years to drop at least 70 lbs. This time I am motivated to do it. Also, I am an educator, love to read and crochet, and relax on the beach.

I am 53. I enrolled in SparkPeople back in 2012, but never followed through with the motivation. Now, out of desperation, I'm back and more committed. I stumbled upon your page and hope you will be my friend on Spark. I am a stress eater, so I hope to get some encouragement now and then from other members.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I won't give up but I don't know that a day of meetings will allow for 5+ miles of walking. They say a mile is 2000 steps but I don't seem to get that many steps in my mile. With all the snow I don't know that walking will be all that pleasurable.

emoticon Thanks for all of the info about the night eating. I read your blog and your comments to my Hubby. He is gaining lots of weight and he can not figure it out? We are going to set up his camera in the kitchen so he will see when he is eating at night. This morning when I got up the peanut butter and jelly was left on the counter. He said that he did not get up after he came to bed. I am a very sound sleeper so I do not hear him. I am going to go on line to the sites that you mentioned. Again, thank you so much. All these years I knew something was not exactly right and I do believe that is an illness/syndrome. emoticon
